Bespoke woven projects

We take great care from the start to completion of each project to understand the client's requirements and ensure that fabrics are designed and produced at the highest quality.
We can work on completely new design briefs, and also welcome projects working with existing designs of our clients. 


The London-based studio is home to hand looms of various widths, capable of small-scale sampling and 150cm full width production. In addition, Alice also has strong relationships with quality mills and finishers in the UK and Italy. 


We are not limited in terms of fabric spec or order size and are a valuable resource for clients who want to commission custom hand-woven or mill-woven cloth.


Projects typically involve:

-       An initial meeting(s) to discuss client requirements and to agree on the design development focus. This might include looking through Alice’s existing collections as reference to what is achievable.
-       Yarn selection and sourcing, if required.
-       Design, development and sampling stages, creating hand-woven or mill-woven swatches.
-       Production, hand or mill woven, of the client's fabric length requirement.
-       Communication and discretion between all stages.
